FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Can a company be opened without travelling to Dubai?

Yes, in most cases. We manage the entire process remotely with a notarised power of attorney. Physical presence is only required for bank account opening in certain banks.

How long does company formation take?

In a Freezone: 6 to 10 business days for the Trade Licence. The bank account then requires an additional 2 to 4 weeks depending on the bank.

Is a UAE national partner required?

No for Freezones (100% foreign ownership) and most Mainland activities since 2021. Our local network allows us to handle specific cases.

Is there corporate tax in Dubai?

Since 2023, a 9% tax applies to profits above AED 375,000 (~EUR 90,000). Below this threshold and for Qualifying Free Zone Persons, the rate is 0%.
